Columnae Honorariae
Seven honorary columns were erected along the southern side of the Forum plaza in the time of the Emperor Diocletian.

Known historical events

285 AD to 305 AD Seven columns built in Roman Forum during reign of Diocletian (as attested by brickstamps found on bricks on the pedestals of the columns). Sources: CIL 15.1569a, 1643b, 1650.
