A monument, ca. 10.15 meters x 8.95 meters, commemorating one of three legendary events. It was enclosed by a balustrade or marble. The pavement was in travertine on which were set four bases. By the time of Augustus, visitors customarily tossed coins into the Lacus for good luck.
