Plebeias tabernas noamus a genere magistratus. Eas enim faciendas curaverunt M. Iunius Brutus, Q. Oppius aediles plebis.

They call the Plebian shops new.................and there are said to have been seven formerly. We name them Plebeian from the type of magistrates. For M. Iunius Brutus and Q. Oppius, aediles of the plebs, had the contract for building them.
