Striding Statues of Ramesses III

Description: These two striding statues of Ramesses III portray the king in heroic glory, with a muscular body and slim waist. In both images, the king wears the nemes headdress with a "double crown" (mostly broken on the statue to the right). The bases of these works are inscribed with images of captive peoples, labeled with the names of lands the king claimed to have conquered.
